FOR THE ATTENTION OF TRAINEE HEALERS!!

DISTRICT REVIEWS and UPGRADING ASSESSMENT DATES FOR 2012 and 2013

Below you will find all the information you will need to ensure that your progress to becoming an approved healer will be as smooth and as successful as we would all wish it to be.

It is mandatory that, during your 100 session training period, you attend the Healing Review Days numbered 1–4 provided by the District Council, details of the content of these sessions can be found in your ‘Training Programme’ booklet. It will be of greater benefit to you if you attend the sessions in numerical order.
District Councils are required to provide four review sessions over your training period. However, to assist trainees in their progress, this District Council has decided to hold additional review sessions each year and in two churches in different parts of the District to assist with travelling. The two churches are Soundwell Road SC, Bristol and Exeter SC and are the healing training centres for the District. Whilst they have been chosen to assist in travelling, with those trainees in the north of the District attending Soundwell Road and those in the south attending Exeter, trainees can attend either healing centre for their reviews.
The arrangement of the availability of the sessions listed below allows trainees the opportunity to complete their review days in one year, if they so wish.

Please make a note of the dates below for future reference, as the District Council does not have the funds to send a reminder for each session. Please note that it is your responsibility to contact the Review Co-ordinator or myself to advise of your attendance at any session.

There is an attendance fee of £10.00 for each review session to assist in covering the cost of the travelling expenses of the members of the Healing Sub-Committee who are taking the sessions.

Each review starts at 10.00 a.m. and aims to be completed by 4.00 p.m. You will need to bring your logbook, Code of Conduct, Healing and the Law, Training Programme for Trainee Healers and a packed lunch. Hot and cold drinks will be provided.

The current dates for the Upgrading Assessments, which may be subject to change, are as follows:
2012 – 4th February, 2nd June, 15th September, 3rd November.
2013 – 2nd February, 1st June, 14th September, 2nd November.

In past years, the healing Sub-Committee have arranged Healer Assessment Seminars in various parts of the District. The invitation to attend was extended to not only the trainees, but also healing leaders, healer trainers and approved healers themselves. The seminars proved helpful to everyone, not only giving insight into the Assessment Day, but also giving an opportunity to update healers on current legislation, thinking and practice. The current Sub-Committee will be holding more of these seminars in the future, so please visit the healing section of this website on a regular basis to check for further updated information.
